Rocky Mountain Raw Honey comes from the Northwestern corner of Montana, up at 4,000 feet above sea level, and is considered to be "Alpine Honey."  Our Bees fly in the mountains feasting on Alpine vegetation such as, Lupine, Fireweed and Knapweed, as well as Fir, Pine and Larch tree pollens.  This makes our honey full bodied and some have said even "buttery."  Not unlike the difference between a full-bodied Chardonnay Wine and the lighter Pinot Grigio.
